For this week, the word of the week is:
りん
(rin)
Woods, Forest, Grove
りん (rin) is the On-Yomi of 林, while
the Kun-Yomi is はやし (Hayashi).
The Kanji 林 is
a combination of two 木 (ki). You can check the Kanji 木 in this link.
林 is
also translated as small forest in order not to get confused with the English translation
of森 (mori) which means big forest.
