【Spanish Lesson #6】The Definite article
Another Spanish time.
For today’s lesson, I will only write about lesson during my week 4 Spanish
class.
In this week, the teacher discussed the definite article or El
artículo determinado in Spanish. The definite article ‘THE’ is used
before a noun to indicate the identity of a noun.
When the noun is Masculine and singular, we used the word ‘El’ means ‘the’, while the plural for masculine, we used
the word ‘Los’.
Example:
El novio – The boyfriend.
Los hermanos – The brothers.
When the noun is Feminine and singular, we used the word ‘La’ for ‘the’ while the plural is ‘Las’.
Example:
La novia – The girlfriend.
Las hermanas – The sisters.
