【Spanish Lesson #2】More Examples

 Spanish Lesson #2More Examples

Last time, I posted about Survival Expressions that I’ve learned during my first week attending an online class. In this post, I will write some examples from the first week's lessons.

Quisiera comer algo I’d like something to eat.

¿Cuánto es? How much is it?

¿Puede ayudarme, por favor? Can you help me please?

            Me he perdido I’m lost.

The alphabets:

During the online lessons, we only listen to how to read the letters of the alphabet. I had to repeat the voice-over because I cannot understand how it was read and had to use other resources to know how the letters are pronounced properly. There are also questions after the alphabet lessons and we need to listen to the person reading it and write the correct letters. Anyway, I will write here how each letter is pronounced.

During the listening of letters, I thought G is read as ‘The’. I heard there is TH is reading G but when I used other resources, G is read ‘ge’. H in Spanish is read silently. That’s why H is read as ‘ache’ but spelled as ‘Hache’. As in the previous lessons, B and V have the same pronunciation. Both are read as ‘B’. That’s why, ‘uve’ is pronounce as ‘ube’. This is only how I observe during my online class and I am still a beginner, so I may be wrong in how the letters are read. Please correct me. Gracias.

So that’s it for my first week of learning the Spanish language. I already finish my seven weeks lesson, but I still need to review everything because it is quite hard as most of the words are written in Spanish.

I will update as soon as possible after I review my lessons.

See you soon!
